Sustainability

For more than two years, CAN's Bryant Community Center has been partnering with the City of Ann Arbor and residents of the Bryant neighborhood to make Bryant the first carbon-neutral neighborhood in the country. This project is focused on centering the goals, aspirations, and strengths of the community in order to implement sustainable solutions that make the community more resilient by saving money, improving indoor health and comfort, advancing safety, addressing the climate crisis, and creating good-paying, family-sustaining jobs. You may have seen us out in the community informing your neighbors about the project and listening to their ideas, or you may have seen some contractors out and about in the neighborhood!
