Support & Advocacy

Goal

The goal of CAN's support and advocacy work is to help low-income residents achieve and sustain economic self-sufficiency by meeting their basic needs.

What do we do?

  • CAN assists families in the specific communities the organization is located with DTE shut-off, eviction prevention, and navigating DHHS.

  • Depending on the situation, we can also refer families to relevant service providers/resources.

​

  • CAN also serves as an advocate for community members, helping empower the voices of those in our communities to bring about positive change on a systemic level.
